Koichiro Yamakado

Dr. Koichiro Yamakado graduated from Kanazawa University in 1987, and he became a resident at Mie University Hospital. He learned basic research at Oregon Health Science University from 1999 to 2000. He became a chief of department of IR at Mie University in 2009. He became a Clinical Professor in 2012. He mover to Hyogo Medical University and became a chairman of department of Radiology in 2017. He has been a President of JSIR from 2020 and President of APSCVIR from 2022 to 2024. He is in charge of “Committee on the Future Direction” in the Japan Society for Portal Hypertension.
