To support academic exchange and encourage participation of early-career interventional radiologists, APSCVIR 2026 offers travel grants and abstract awards in collaboration with international partner organizations.

AKAMS Travel Grants

Grant Details

  • Number of awards: 10
  • Grant amount: USD 500 per awardee
  • Purpose: Travel support for participation in APSCVIR 2026
  • Meeting dates and venue: June 11–14, 2026, Suzhou, China

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • International residents, fellows, or early-career interventional radiologists (≤ 35 years; recommendation letter from the head of department required)
  • Based in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Presenting authors of abstracts accepted for APSCVIR 2026

Eligible applicants should submit an application by email to:

  • Full name
  • Institution
  • Accepted abstract title and abstract ID
  • Brief curriculum vitae
  • Recommendation letter from the head of department
  • Passport photo page
  • Deadline for application: January 31, 2026

Award Notification

  • AKAMS Travel Grant recipients will be notified by email prior to the APSCVIR 2026 meeting.

ISMIO Abstract Awards

Award Categories

  • ISMIO Oral Abstract Awards - Top 10 oral abstracts, USD 300 per award
  • ISMIO Poster Abstract Awards - Top 10 poster abstracts, USD 200 per award

Award Announcement

  • ISMIO award recipients will be announced during the Gala Dinner at APSCVIR 2026.

Important Note

  • ISMIO abstract awards are reserved for presenters who are not recipients of the AKAMS travel grant.
  • The awardees are selected by the Scientific Committee and are independent of nationality.
  • Invited speakers are not eligible for Abstract Awards.
