Professor Gerard Goh is the Head of Interventional Radiology at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne and is an Adjunct Professor at Monash University.
He is the Secretary-General for the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR), a council member for the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) for the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE) and a member of Asia Safe for the AOSR. In the past he has been the President of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA), Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Radiology, Board Member for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) and served on committees for CIRSE and the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
Prof Goh involved with several journals and is the regional editor for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, senior editor for Interventional Radiology and an associate editor for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology. He is also an editor for the upcoming 4th edition of the textbook Image guided interventions and is the co-founder of the VENTI conference for MSK embolization.
In addition to a strong interest in research and first in human trials, he is a regularly invited speaker and has given over 300 invited presentations and international and national conferences.
