I am an interventional radiologist at the Radiology Center, Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam. I completed my residency training in Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology, and I am currently practicing in image-guided interventions and advanced abdominal imaging, with a clinical focus on hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal, and vascular procedures.
My clinical work includes transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for hepatocellular carcinoma, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of liver tumors, portal venous interventions, percutaneous biliary drainage, and endovascular embolization for gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as various emergency interventional procedures. I also have a particular interest in managing gastric variceal bleeding using advanced techniques such as ATO and PARTO in cases where endoscopic therapy is unsuccessful or not feasible.
I am actively involved in academic activities, including clinical research, teaching radiology residents, and presenting at national and international conferences. My current research focuses on fusion-guided liver tumor ablation, IgG4-related pancreatobiliary disease, and optimization of CT/MRI protocols for abdominal imaging.
My professional goal is to contribute to the development of interventional radiology in Vietnam and to strengthen collaborations with leading international centers.
