Wangrui Liu is a PhD candidate in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. His clinical and research interests focus on lung cancer and minimally invasive treatment strategies for pulmonary nodules, particularly thermal ablation and cryoablation.
His current research aims to optimize ablation-based management of pulmonary nodules by improving procedural safety, local tumor control, and patient selection. He is also interested in the integration of thoracic surgery, interventional techniques, and multidisciplinary cancer care to develop more precise and less invasive therapeutic approaches for patients with early-stage lung cancer or suspicious pulmonary lesions.
At APSCVIR 2026, Wangrui Liu will deliver an oral presentation on pulmonary nodule ablation, sharing his recent work and clinical research perspectives with colleagues in cardiovascular and interventional radiology.
