Dr Eisen Liang graduated from UNSW Sydney Australia. He received his diagnostic and interventional radiology training in Hong Kong. He pursued his IR career path in Australia, and founded Sydney Interventional Radiology and Sydney Fibroid Clinic.
He has clinical and research interests in gynaecological interventions such as embolisation for fibroids, adenomyosis and pelvic congestion syndrome. He works closely with gynaecologists, running joint clinics with a focus on uterine sparing treatment options for women with fibroids and adenomyosis.
His case series on UAE for fibroids and adenomyosis have been published in ANZJOG in 2012, 2018 and 2021.
In 2021, he published a book entitled: “Could It Be Adenomyosis? The bad cousin of Endometriosis: An Unsuspected Cause of Heavy Painful Periods”.
In 2024/2025, he published two papers on Pelvic Congestion Syndrome in JMIRO.
