I am currently working as a radiologist at Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I obtained my Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 2011. From 2014 to 2017, I completed my residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the same institution. To further advance my professional qualifications, I pursued the Specialist Level II program in Radiology at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, which I completed in 2023.
My clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of diagnostic and interventional radiology, with a particular focus on vascular and non-vascular interventions. I have gained experience in the endovascular management of abdominal and pelvic wall hematomas, pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysms, and traumatic vascular injuries. I am especially interested in the role of minimally invasive techniques in improving outcomes for critically ill patients, and I continuously strive to integrate new advances into routine clinical practice.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am actively engaged in academic and research activities. I have co-authored several peer-reviewed international publications in journals such as Radiology Case Reports and the Asian Journal of Neurosurgery. These works include reports on endovascular management of giant post-traumatic pseudoaneurysms, pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysms causing massive hemoptysis, and other rare but clinically important conditions. Through these contributions, I aim to expand the evidence base for interventional radiology and highlight innovative approaches applicable even in resource-limited settings.
My long-term professional goal is to promote the development of interventional radiology in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. I am particularly committed to expanding access to minimally invasive procedures, contributing to physician training, and building collaborations with colleagues worldwide. By combining clinical service, academic work, and international cooperation, I hope to contribute to advancing patient care and strengthening the role of interventional radiology as a vital component of modern medicine.
