I am Dr. Abhishek Gupta an interventional radiology trainee with a strong commitment to advancing minimally invasive therapies in complex clinical settings. With a background in diagnostic radiology and a passion for image-guided procedures, I am building expertise in cutting-edge endovascular and oncologic interventions that improve patient outcomes while minimizing morbidity.
During my medical training, I developed a deep interest in vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology, with particular focus on endovascular management of obstetric hemorrhage, hepatobiliary interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures. My clinical work has centered on the role of interventional radiology in multidisciplinary care pathways, where collaboration with obstetricians, surgeons, and anesthesiologists is essential for success.
I have been actively involved in research exploring innovative endovascular strategies including access failure in oncology and dialysis dependent and management of hemorrhage in obsteric patients. I have presented my work at many academic forums like CIRSE 25,APSCVIR 25,PAIRS 25 and is committed to expanding the role of evidence-based interventional radiology in human health.
Outside of obstetric interventions, My training encompasses a broad spectrum of procedures such as percutaneous tumor ablation, transarterial chemoembolisation (TACE), portal hypertension management, and emergency trauma embolisation. His academic goal is to integrate clinical practice with impactful research, helping to refine protocols and establish standardized interventional techniques tailored to resource-limited as well as advanced healthcare systems.
I am driven by the vision of making interventional radiology more accessible, patient-centered, and multidisciplinary in scope. As he progresses through his training, he remains dedicated to contributing to the growth of this rapidly evolving specialty, both in clinical innovation and in mentoring future generations of radiologists.
