Prof. Syed Zoherul Alam (Zahir), working in Evercare Hospital Dhaka, as Senior Consultant, Interventional Radiology.

He was in Bangladesh Army and served as Head, Dept of Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology, Combined Military Hospital Dhaka. 

Prof / Brig Gen (R) Zahir has started his Interventional Radiology career more than 20 years.Later after fellowship program, started doing 

endovascular procedures.Trained himself in different renowned hospitals / institutions abroad.

He has introduced a state of art IR center in Military Hospital Dhaka.

Currently, he is the President of Bangladesh Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (BSVIR). 

He did first cTACE in Bangladesh as Interventional Radiologist.
