As the Professor of Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery and Liver Transplantation, Dr. Zhou has been working on the basic and clinical studies in liver cancer for 34 years, and has the clinical experience of more than 10,000 hepatectomies and 3,000 orthotopic liver transplantation. He has been in charge of 28 research projects including the National Key R&D Program and Key Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, reaching an amount of 12 million USD$, and has published 137 SCI papers as the first or correspondence author including Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cell Research, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Journal of Hepatology and Clinical Cancer Research, etc., H-index 89.

Dr. Zhou has won 5 national-level Awards for Scientific and Technological Advancement.
