Dr. Zhang, MD, PhD is a Professor of Radiology at Central South University, bringing over 20 years of clinical experience, including a decade in premier Western institutions. He stands as the first Ph.D. in Interventional Radiology from Hunan Province and completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Kuopio, Finland. Exceptionally dual-credentialed, Dr. Zhang holds the USMLE certification and the American Board of Radiology (ABR) board certification. His academic career includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at both Wayne State University and the University of Michigan. Currently, Dr. Zhang focuses on introducing the frameworks of American precision medicine and standardized clinical practices to China, serving as a vital mentor and resource for clinicians, educators, and researchers in radiology and interventional medicine.
