Dr. Wu is a Director in the Department of Medical Imaging, Taipei Medical University-Shuang Ho Hospital. His primary clinical and research fields are developing and applying novel and quantitative imaging techniques in liver disease such as hepatic steatosis and liver fibrosis. He has interests in ultrasound elastography, magnetic resonance imaging, and magnetic resonance spectroscopy to perform body composition analysis. He achieved master's or doctoral degree in the Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University. He also performed interventional procedures such as transarterial (chemo)embolization, selective internal radiotherapy, radiofrequency and microwave ablation, portal vein intervention, and transjugular portosystemic shunt. He was awarded by the 2015, 2016 Taiwan Radiological Society Outstanding Paper, 2019 Asia-Pacific Society of Cardio-Vascular Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR) Young IR Grant, 2019 Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology (JSIR) Rising Star, 2022 The Asia Conference on Tumor Ablation: Best Oral Presentation, 2023 Asian Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology: Best Oral Presenter, 2023 Outstanding service of National Taiwan University Hospital: Group Award, 2024 Taiwan Radiological Society Outstanding Paper Award and 2024 Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver: Investigator Award.
