Dr. Edward W. Lee is a Full Professor in the Division of Interventional Radiology, Department of Radiology; the Division of Liver and Pancreas Transplant Surgery, Department of Surgery; and the Division of Space Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Interventional Radiology at ASAN Medical Center in Korea. He holds an MD, PhD, and MSc, and is board certified as a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR). He currently serves as the Director of the IR Residency Program, Director of Research, and Director of Lymphatic Intervention at UCLA. His professional career includes extensive clinical, research, and educational leadership roles at UCLA and international collaborations. Dr. Lee is an active member of several prestigious international medical societies, including AASLD, SIR, CIRSE, AACR, and others. His professional expertise and research interests focus on interventional radiology, particularly in the areas of portal hypertension, TIPS/BRTO/CARTO/PARTO procedures, liver interventional oncology, lymphatic intervention, Y90 radioembolization, tumor ablation, and personalized interventional oncology (PIO).
