Dr. Miyuki Sone is Chief of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the National Cancer Center Hospital, Tokyo. She earned her medical degree from Iwate Medical University. She serves on the Executive Board of the Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology as Deputy Chair of the International Affairs and Regulatory Affairs Committees and Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She also chairs the Japan Interventional Radiology in Oncology Study Group. Internationally, she is an Associate Editor for JVIR and CVIR Oncology. Her interests include oncologic and palliative IR, clinical trials, and abdominal imaging.
