Mathew Cherian is the Chief of Radiology Services and Director in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Kovai Medical Center, Coimbatore. He is the current president of the Indian Society of Neuro Radiology and a founder member and past president of the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (ISVIR). He is a member of the Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Radiology. His distinguished accolades include receiving the University Gold Medal for his MD in Radiology in 1989 and the ISVIR Gold Medal in 2018. He also serves on the advisory boards of several companies, such as Boston Scientific Corporation, Medtronic Neurovascular, and Stryker.
