Dr. Yozo Sato serves as Director of the Department of Diagnostic Ultrasound & Interventional Radiology at the Cancer Institute Hospital of the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research in Tokyo, Japan. A graduate of Nagoya City University College of Medicine in 1998, he completed five years of training at Nagoya City University Hospital before joining the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Aichi Cancer Center Hospital, where he worked for approximately 18 years. In April 2021, he transferred to the Cancer Institute Hospital in Tokyo, then returned to Aichi Cancer Center Hospital in Nagoya in April 2023, before being re-transferred to the Cancer Institute Hospital in Tokyo in November 2025. His primary research focus is in the field of Interventional Oncology.
