His research focuses on the tumor microenvironment mediating tumor recurrence and mechanisms of therapeutic resistance, as well as the effects and underlying mechanisms of minimally invasive interventional therapy in regulating the tumor microenvironment.

He has published papers as first author (including co-first author) in journals such as J Hematol Oncol, Clin Cancer Res, Exp Hematol Oncol, and Brit J Cancer.

He currently serves as Principal Investigator of one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young Scientist Program (Category C) grant, one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Grant, and one institutional-level grant.
