Dr. Jae-Kyu Kim is an Emeritus Professor at Chonnam National University in Gwangju, Korea. His distinguished professional career spans over three decades at Chonnam National University, where he served as Professor in the Department of Radiology, Chief of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Chairman of the Department of Radiology, and Vice-Dean of the Medical School. Dr. Kim has held prominent leadership roles, including President of the Korean Society of Interventional Radiology (KSIR) and founder of the Grand Interventional Radiology Symposium (GIRLS). His professional interests and expertise are concentrated in interventional radiology, encompassing vascular and non-vascular interventions, interventional oncology, and mechanical thrombectomy.
