Dr. Jamal Aldeen Alkoteesh is the Chief of Interventional Radiology and Medical Director of SEHA Radiology, as well as a Professor of Interventional Radiology at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University. He holds over 25 years of experience in the field. Dr. Alkoteesh is recognized as a pioneer in interventional radiology in the UAE, having established the first interventional radiology services in the country since 2007 and being the first DOH-licensed interventional radiologist in Abu Dhabi. He has performed over 75,000 procedures throughout his career, specializing in advanced techniques such as TIPS, acute stroke interventions, prostate artery embolization, uterine artery embolization, and radioembolization for liver cancer, among others.
