Dr. Deepashree Thiruchunapalli is the Clinical Lead and Head of the Department of Interventional Radiology at Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Centre, a 450-bed quaternary care hospital in India. She also serves as the Director of the Fellowship Programme in Interventional Radiology, where she is actively involved in training and mentoring future Interventional Radiology specialists. Dr. Thiruchunapalli has held several leadership roles in professional societies, including Elected President of the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (ISVIR), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Chapter (2023–2024), and Executive Committee Member of ISVIR India (2022–2023). She was also the Organising Chairperson of ISVIR 2026, a widely recognized national conference held in Chennai.
