Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan, China

I am an attending physician in the Department of Radiology at Taipei Veterans General Hospital (Taipei VGH), one of the leading tertiary referral centers in Asia. My clinical practice focuses on interventional radiology, with a particular emphasis on liver-directed therapies and image-guided interventions.

My expertise includes transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), drug-eluting bead TACE (DEB-TACE), yttrium-90 (Y-90) radioembolization, tumor ablation, biliary interventions, and vascular disease management. I am actively involved in the development and advancement of the Y-90 radioembolization program at Taipei VGH, one of the earliest and most experienced programs in Taiwan. Through this program, we have treated a large number of patients and achieved tumor response and survival outcomes comparable to, or even exceeding, those reported by leading international centers. My clinical approach emphasizes personalized dosimetry, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the integration of advanced imaging techniques such as cone-beam CT into daily practice.

I currently serve as a Director of the Taiwan Society of Interventional Radiology (TSIR) and as a Supervisor of the Taiwan Liver Cancer Association (TLCA). In these roles, I contribute to clinical education, guideline development, and national policy discussions, particularly in areas related to interventional oncology and healthcare reimbursement systems.

I am a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, where I share my experience in liver cancer management, advanced imaging-guided interventions, and precision medicine. My work is driven by a commitment to advancing interventional radiology through innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the translation of research into improved patient care
