Dr. Roberts is a Distinguished Professor of Radiology, Emeritus at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She has been involved in multiple radiology organizations. She has been president of the SCVIR (now SIR) and the Western Angiographic and Interventional Society (WAIS).  She served as chair of the Radiology Society of Radiology (RSNA) interventional subcommittee for the Program Committee and Refresher Course committee.  Dr. Roberts has been a member of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Board of Chancellors, Secretary/Treasurer, then Vice President.  She served as a Trustee of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and was appointed as the first Associate Executive Director for Interventional Radiology. Dr. Roberts has been elected to fellowship in SIR, the ACR, the American Heart Association (AHA), and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Society of Europe (CIRSE).  She is a Distinguished Fellow of CIRSE, an Honorary member of the Chinese College of Interventionalists (CCI) and Honorary Member/Fellow of the APSCVIR. She was honored with Gold Medals from the SIR, the ACR and the RSNA.
