Professor Kudo is currently a Professor and Chairman at the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Kindai University Faculty of Medicine since 1999 and the Executive Board Member of Kindai University.

Professor Kudo has published 1322 International scientific peer review papers in well regarded journals (Total IF=10761.144, Citations= 65,666, H-Index 119, International Collaboration Article 349) .He is also serving as an Editor in Chief of LIVER CANCER (Karger) (IF=11.6).
