Dr. Ho-Young Song, Emeritus Professor at Asan Medical Center, is a world-renowned pioneer in nonvascular interventional radiology. He has authored five books, 42 book chapters, and more than 440 scientific articles, and has delivered over 1,200 invited lectures globally. He holds 25 international patents, including U.S. and European patents for self-expanding stents, and as the co-founder of the Society of Gastrointestinal Intervention (SGI), he has been instrumental in advancing GI stent technology worldwide. Dr. Song has served on numerous editorial boards and has received multiple prestigious honors, including gold medals and honorary memberships from SIR, RSNA, ESR, and JRS.
