Xiao Li is the Director of the Department of Interventional Therapy at the Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS), the Vice-President of the Cancer Hospital (Lang Fang), CAMS, and Professor of Radiology at Peking Union Medical College. He has received several academic and professional awards, including the National Distinguished Physician: Exemplary Merit Award in 2017. Since 2022, he has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Interventional Imaging and Therapy. Additionally, he holds several academic administrative roles, including Vice-President of the Chinese College of Interventionalists (since 2023), and Chairman of the TIPS Training Center of the Expert Committee of the Chinese Vascular Surgery Training Program, Chinese Medical Association (since 2024).
