Dr. Amar Mukund is a professor of interventional radiology with core area of work and interest being portal hypertension and hepatobiliary interventions. He has worked extensively in the field of vascular diseases of liver (Budd-Chiari Syndrome) and interventions for portal hypertension (TIPS, BRTO/PARTO). Other area of interest included interventional treatment of liver tumours (RFA/MWA, TACE, TARE). He has many 1st and innovative interventional procedures to his credit.
