I am a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Southeast University. I also serve as the Director of the Research Platform Management Office at Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University, and Assistant Director of the State Key Laboratory of Digital Medical Engineering.
My long-term research focuses on the mechanism exploration and clinical translation of chronic kidney disease. I have led a number of research projects, including the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund. I have been selected for the second tier of Jiangsu “333 High-Level Talents Project”. In both 2024 and 2025, I was listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists released by Stanford University and Elsevier. I have also delivered multiple thematic reports at national academic conferences, including the annual meeting of the Chinese Society of Nephrology.
In terms of academic social roles, I serve as a Youth Committee Member of the Metabolic Biology Branch of the Chinese Biophysical Society. I am also a Distinguished Expert and Deputy Secretary-General of the 4th Overseas Chinese Experts Committee of Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. Additionally, I work as a peer reviewer for international journals including Kidney International.
As a key contributor, I have received a series of provincial and ministerial-level academic awards. These include the Third Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of Clinical Medicine Innovation Award from the Chinese Research Hospital Association, and the honor of Top Ten Scientific and Technological Progress in Jiangsu's key industrial fields.
