Dr. Martin Krauss is a German trained interventional radiologist who is the Lead for Interventional Radiology at Christchurch Hospital in New Zealand. His main area of expertise is vascular interventions with a strong focus on everything embolization. The treatment of vascular malformations has for many years been his particular interest and he built up an interdisciplinary working group in Christchurch for this patient group. Christchurch Hospital was the first centre outside of Europe to introduce Bleomycin-Electrosclerotherapy (BEST) for the treatment of patients with vascular malformations.
