Prof. Syed Zoherul Alam (Zahir) is a Senior Consultant in Interventional Radiology at Evercare Hospital Dhaka.

He previously served in the Bangladesh Army as Head of the Department of Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka.

Prof. Brig Gen (Retd.) Zahir began his career in Interventional Radiology more than 20 years ago. Following fellowship training, he expanded his expertise in endovascular procedures and received advanced training at renowned hospitals and institutions abroad.

He established a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology center at CMH Dhaka.

Currently, he serves as President of the Bangladesh Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (BSVIR).

He performed the first cTACE procedure in Bangladesh as an Interventional Radiologist.
