Dr. Shi Zhou is a Professor, Grade 2 Chief Physician and doctoral supervisor. He acts as the academic leader of the Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Center at the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University.

He is appointed as a member of the Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Expert Panel of the National Health Commission and Director of the branch center of the National Clinical Research Center for Radiology and Therapy. He holds numerous key national academic positions, including Committee Member and Vice Leader of the Interventional Radiology Subgroup under the 15th Chinese Society of Radiology, Vice Chairman of the Interventional Therapy Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and Standing Committee Member of the Chinese College of Interventional Physicians.

At the provincial level, he serves as Chairman of Guizhou Radiological Society, Golden Teaching Scholar of Guizhou Provincial Institutions of Higher Education, and Director of Guizhou Provincial Quality Control Center for Comprehensive Interventional Techniques.

Prof. Zhou has received 2 second-class and 3 third-class Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Awards, 3 invention patents, and 4 Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards. He has been awarded Provincial Excellent Master Supervisor and Provincial Top 100 Outstanding Physician. He has undertaken and completed 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects and over 10 provincial research programs, and has published more than 100 academic papers in SCI journals, national authoritative journals and core journals.
