To support academic exchange and encourage participation of early-career interventional radiologists, APSCVIR 2026 offers APSCVIR Young IR Grant, travel grants and abstract awards in collaboration with international partner organizations.

APSCVIR Young IR Grant

The Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (APSCVIR) will provide APSCVIR Young IR Grant to support young presenters at APSCVIR 2026.

Grant Details

  • Number of awards: 13
  • Grant amount: SGD 750 in travel support

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be under 40 years of age in the year of the meeting.
  • Applicants must have submitted an abstract and received an abstract acceptance email.
  • Applicants must have registered for APSCVIR 2026 and provided confirmation of registration.
  • Applicants must apply to become an individual member of APSCVIR.
  • Applicants must be residents outside of Suzhou, China.

AKAMS Travel Grants

Supported by the Asia–Korea–Africa Medical Scholarship Association (AKAMS), APSCVIR 2026 will provide travel grants to support eligible participants from the Asia-Pacific region.

*The recipients of the grant have been notified by email. Please confirm your attendance by Friday, March 13, 2026. Responses received after the deadline will be considered invalid, and the grant will be withdrawn.

  • Grant amount: USD 500 per awardee
  • Purpose: Travel support for participation in APSCVIR 2026
  • Meeting dates and venue: June 11–14, 2026, Suzhou, China

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • International residents, fellows, or early-career interventional radiologists (≤ 35 years; recommendation letter from the head of department required)
  • Based in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Presenting authors of abstracts accepted for APSCVIR 2026

Award Categories

  • ISMIO Oral Abstract Awards - Top 10 oral abstracts, USD 300 per award
  • ISMIO Poster Abstract Awards - Top 10 poster abstracts, USD 200 per award

Award Announcement

  • ISMIO award recipients will be announced during the Gala Dinner at APSCVIR 2026.

Important Note

  • ISMIO abstract awards are reserved for presenters who are not recipients of the AKAMS travel grant.
  • The awardees are selected by the Scientific Committee and are independent of nationality.
  • Invited speakers are not eligible for Abstract Awards.
